Abstract
Thiourea in doses of 0.5-1.0 mg./g. was injected into 18 Fundulus. Their O2 consumption was then detd. by the Winkler method and compared with that of control animals. In no case did the drug depress the O2 consumption. In 9 other animals the injn. of thyroxine likewise failed to produce any change in O2 consumption .Keywords
