Abstract
This paper describes a digital computer program that is one of a set to be used in planning the most economic pattern of electric power generator purchases for a 20-to 30-year period. The purpose of this particular program is to determine in which future years new generating capability will be required. Alternatively, if the years of unit installation are to be specified, then the program will calculate the generator sizes that must be committed to meet prescribed reliability criteria. Keywords
