Dissecting Hematoma of the Coronary Artery

Abstract
A dissecting hematoma of the coronary artery occurred in a 27-year-old woman taking an oral contraceptive. A possible relationship between the dissecting hematoma and the use of oral contraceptives is postulated on the basis of histologic vascular changes similar to those previously described in cases of dissecting hematoma of the coronary artery, in pregnant humans and animals, and in humans and experimental animals receiving oral contraceptives.
