Abstract
A new method to prepare ultrasonic transducers by solution casting or solvent bonding of the piezoelectric polymer polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is reported. This results in high-quality transducers. For the first time PVDF transducers were operated up to 24 GHz.Keywords
