Abstract
Junctional intercellular communication between several established human breast cancer cell lines [MDA 231, HS 578T, 734B, SK-BR-3, BT20, CAMA and T47D cells] and a variety of mammalian cells was examined. All the cancer cell lines were either noncommunicators or nonselective communicators. Normal human mammary epithelium shows selectivity in junctional communication. Loss of selectivity in junctional communication appears to be a general features of cultured human breast cancer cells. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
