Abstract
We studied mortality among subjects with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-1 and HIV-2 infection in relation to GB virus (GBV)-C coinfection. No significant differences in mortality were seen between subjects with and subjects without GBV-C coinfection who also had either HIV-1 or HIV-2 infection. No association between GBV-C and HIV plasma virus loads or CD4 cell count was observed. Keywords
