Abstract
The absence of detectable coupling between the two kinds of hydrogen atom in dimethyl phosphite necessitates the use of a triple resonance experiment for the determination of the sign of J(31P–1H). J(31C–1H) and J(31P–1H) are found to be of like sign and a technique of “partial decoupling” is described. Keywords
