Abstract
SIGHTLINE, PERSPECTIVE PLOT, and SCOPE are new computer programs to assist the forest manager in predicting the visual consequences of timber harvest. Developed by the U.S. Forest Service for use on desktop computer systems, they can depict (1) terrain and timber stands from a viewpoint, (2) clearcut harvest blocks and ridgelines in true perspective from a viewpoint, and (3) partially cut harvest blocks and associated features in true perspective from a viewpoint. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
