Intraband transition rates in the gamma-vibrational bands of162Dy and168Er

Abstract
The relative intraband transition rates for levels in the gamma vibrational bands of 162Dy and 168Er have been measured with a 5.8 m radius curved crystal spectrometer. The measurements allow us to deduce the M1-E2 mixing ratios in the Delta I=-1 intraband transitions. The results are consistent with the assumption that mod (gK-gR)/Q0(2) mod is constant within the band.Keywords
