Abstract
This review will focus on the role of adenosine and adenine nucleotides as potential mediators of the tubuloglomerular feedback response. The effects of these substances on tubular transport, renin release, and long-term adaptations of tubuloglomerular feedback are worthy of discussion, but will not be considered here.Keywords
