Abstract
Extracts from house dust were prepared at alkaline pH. The "54.5% ethanol fraction" was subjected to Sephadex and DEAE-Sephadex chromatography, and some indication was found that two components could be distinguished by intradermal tests in dust-reactive patients. An extract from dust from a hotel prepared in a similar manner was found to be inactive in intradermal tests, but yielded reactive material after short term boiling. Details on procedure and results are presented. Keywords
