Abstract
The biological effectiveness of various concentrations of malathion and of lindane used for control of adults of Sitophilus granarius (L.), S. oryza (L.), and Rhyzopertha dominica (F.) in stored wheat, and the residual half-life of these compounds in and on the grain, were determined. Malathion lost biological effectiveness with time and had a residual half-life of 5.6 months. Lindane remained unaffected both biologically and chemically throughout the storage period. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
