Abstract
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has several different systems for collecting information on drugs of abuse. One is an early warning system, which collects information to provide scientific data and interpretation on drug abuse. Another is the collection of data from evidence submitted to DEA laboratories. This is a review of the significance of the data in each system and an examination of some of the trends observed from the data. Keywords
