Abstract
Information shows that most of the breeding of whitetail deer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan occurs between Nov. 4 and 22. Most fawns are dropped between May 31 and June 10. The avg. gestation period for 10 deer was 204 days. Twelve female fawns had an avg. wt. of 5 lbs., 11.5 ounces, 17 male fawns avgd. 7 lbs., 7 ounces.Keywords
