Multifocal Interstitial Myositis Associated With Localized Lipoatrophy

Abstract
• A 54-year-old man had localized lipoatrophy and interstitial myositis. The benign nature of the disorder, the lack of associated systemic diseases, and the absence of known precipitating factors were evident in this case. Biopsy specimens were used to study the pathological changes in muscle and subcutaneous tissue during a period of 30 years.
