Abstract
A discussion of the photometric phenomena exhibited by CC Eri in the light of a theory of star spots produces an explanation in which the ‘ spots ’ are not on the surface but are neutral absorbing clouds at two of the collinear Lagrangian points. The theory of spots on the star surface accounts for the light curves of the stars described by Krzeminski but some unexplained differences between these stars and CC Eri remain.
