Abstract
The treatment of creeping eruption by freezing the larvae in situ with either ethyl chloride spray or solid carbon dioxide is well known. Although this method is effective, it is tedious in cases of widespread involvement and is not efficient in controlling the intense itching until all the larvae are killed. In addition, we do not use this form of treatment on severely excoriated and secondarily infected areas. A method of treatment which would quickly control the itching and could be promptly used in all cases would be a distinct advancement in the therapy for this disease. The recent reports in the literature of the successful use of fuadin in the treatment of creeping eruption by Smith,1Wilson2and Rubin3suggested that this is the method of choice.
