Abstract
Records of the seasonal abundance of adult Agrotis ipsilon, Mythimna separata, Chrysodeixis eriosoma, and Heliothis armigera are presented as a result of light trapping in West Auckland from 1978 and 1979. These results are compared with similar figures from Paiaka (near Foxton) 1949-50 (Cumber 1951), and from Palmerston North 1967-68 (Gaskin 1970).Keywords
