Abstract
Patients with rheumatoid arthritis and symmetrically involved knee joints, were treated in plaster splints. One knee of each pair was immobilized completely for 4 wks., and the plaster on the other knee was split after 3 days so that daily assisted movements could be performed. There was no significant difference between the mobility of the two knees at the end of the trial period. Keywords
