Abstract

In a family with the May-Hegglin anomaly, electron microscopic studies demonstrated the development of the May-Hegglin inclusion within immature bone marrow granulocytes. The ultrastructural similarity of the inclusions to paracrystalline arrays of depolymerized ribosomes is discussed.
