Abstract
An endoscopic method for placing an internal drain in the bile-duct is described. Compared to the nasobiliary suction-tube this method has the advantage that it guarantees the physiological flow of the bile into the duodenum, and that the patient is in no way inconvenienced. For high-risk or inoperable cases the method can be considered as an alternative to choledochoduodenostomy. Keywords
