The depth-dose distribution for plane monodirectional electron beams of energy 10 to 20 Mev incident in water has been mathematically calculated, and explicit mathematical solutions were obtained that take into account the production and absorp-tion of bremsstrahlung and the effects of secondary electron production. In addition, the bremsstrahlung production spectrum, averaged over spatial variables, has been calculated. The calculations were carried out for three beam energies, 39, 30, and 20 m0c2, corresponding to 20, 15.3, and 10.2 Mev, respectively.
