Abstract
The gold-decoration technique is a very sensitive method for the detection of surface phenomena on ionic crystals. In this article some results are presented from the application of this technique to polyethylene single crystals and solution-cast films of nylon 6. The decoration pattern on nylon films is compared with the structure revealed by PTA staining. Keywords
