Abstract
Haloperidol is a drug that fulfils Delay's criteria of a neuroleptic in that: 1.It inhibits psychomotor agitation without producing sleep. 2.Alleviates psychomotor manifestations. 3.Produces with increasing dosage characteristic extrapyramidal signs.Keywords
