Two micron observations of 12CO and 13CO in the red giant sources IRS 7, IRS 12, and IRS 19

Abstract

Spectra have been obtained from 1.2 to 2.47 microns of the Galactic Center sources IRS 7, 12 and 19 with resolutions of 2.4, 2.4, and 4.8 cm−1 respectively. The spectra of these sources show the first overtone bandheads of 12CO and 13CO. The spectrum of IRS 7, the brightest of the sources, also shows photospheric absorptions of Ca, Na, and other common elements.
