Abstract
Anal stricture may be treated by lateral advancement flaps (Y closed as V). The technique is fast, easy, and gives good results. There was no morbidity in the four patients on which it was used. It is recommended for anal mucosal stricture with or without muscle involvement. In addition, the Y-V principle can be utilized to prevent stricture in primary operative procedures on the anus. Keywords
