Abstract
The inclusive reactions are studied in the framework of an evolution process in momentum degradation. All measured inclusive cross sections between C and Pb for all values can be understood in terms of one basic degradation function which involves only one adjustable parameter. The inferred degradation length in nuclear matter is 17 fm.
