Health Promotion in the Schools:

Abstract
Many children and adolescents develop a variety of behavioral health risk factors that may lead to a decrease in the quality of their lives. A number of these risk factors are preventable of controllable, especially when healthy lifestyles are established early in life. Special services providers have the opportunity and the challenge of assisting in development and facilitation of health promotion activities in the schools.
