Abstract
The genus Aceodromus is redefined on the basis of the type species, A. convolvuli Muma, and a new species, A. asternalis, both of which are described and illustrated. The subfamily Aceodrominae Muma is removed from the Phytoseiidae and synonymized under the subfamily Blattisociinae (Blattisociidae), and reasons for this action are discussed. Keywords
