Abstract
We describe a flexible, stereocontrolled synthesis of enantiomerically pure substituted cyclopentenes and cyclopentanes ‐ including 11α‐hydroxy‐13‐oxaprostanoic acid 20 ‐ (−)‐quinic acid via an acyclic precursor 6 by an intramolecular aldolisation‐dehydration reaction.Keywords
