Abstract
This report concerns nineteen cases of bone infarction not associated with such obvious etiologies as blood dyscrasias or caisson disease. Infarcts frequently seen in the femoral head were not included. The clinical, roentgenographic, and pathological aspects of the lesions are discussed. The pathogenesis in most cases was not clear; there are probably several causes of the type of bone infarct described. Keywords
