Abstract
Expired air containing halothane can be analyzed for O2, CO2, and halothane by the Beckman GC-2A chromatograph with an accuracy acceptable for studies of respiratory and anesthetic gas exchange during halothane anesthesia. Application requires access to gas mixtures of known composition covering the range of concentrations of O2 and CO2 in the samples to be analyzed. Keywords
