Abstract
CANCERS of the larynx are the most common head and neck tumors treated by the otolaryngologist. Because of the frequency of laryngeal cancer and the emotional climate surrounding the decisions involved in its treatment, one must understand the principles of the initial treatment selection. What are the options, and what are the consequences of selecting a certain option? We know that death as a consequence of early cancer is unlikely.
