Abstract
The objective of these experiments was to evaluate the possibility of swine becoming infected with Salmonella typhimurium from an environment contaminated with feces in a short time interval. Two experiments were conducted. In Experiment 1, pigs were necropsied at 2 (n=10) and 6 (n=5) hours after continuous exposure to an environment contaminated with nalidixic acid-resistant Salmonella typhimurium (χ4232).Keywords
