Abstract
Antibody to complement is expressed as antibody protein and as radioactive (C14) protein incorporated with specific antigen. Tiselius electrophoretic analyses of pre- and post-immunization sera suggest that anticomplement is contained in the gamma globulin fraction. Electrochromatographic separation is an effective means of concentration and partial purification of anticomplement-containing sera.
