Abstract
The photoabsorption cross section of lithium vapour has been measured between 200 and 172 AA. The average cross section is about 2 Mb in this region. Preliminary estimates of branching ratios for absorption leaving the ion in each of the n=2 states are obtained from the data. The resonance structure in this region, which is compatible with earlier work, is discussed. Keywords
