Abstract
New synthetic procedures of a Y-Ba-Cu-O superconductor obtained through homogeneous colloidal precursors are described. These are formed by hydrolysis (olation) and in situ oxidation reaction (oxolation) of a mixture of metal ions in an aqueous solution. The resulting specimens exhibit a high-T c superconducting state after calcination. Resistance drops at around 95 K and completely vanishes at 75 K. These procedures will provide a conventional process for producing superconductive thin films and wires. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
