Abstract
The authors present a boy with a sudden onset a large intracranial hematoma causing rapid neurologic deterioration. The hematoma resulted from intraparenchymal bleeding due to Henoch-Schönlein purpura. Urgent surgical removal of the hematoma was followed by excellent improvement of the patient.
