Abstract
We report the measurement of the frequency response of nearly degenerate four-wave mixing in a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser. High efficiency conjugate signal generation is demonstrated. A superlinear dependence between the square of relaxation oscillation frequency and the output power is observed. The experimental observation is well described by present theories. Keywords
