Abstract
The insect pathogenic fungus Culicinomyces has been recorded infecting larval mosquitoes in Sydney and in North Carolina, U.S.A. The first discovery of the fungus in adult mosquitoes is here recorded, with evidence that infected adults are themselves infective to larvae. It is suggested that this interstadial infection could contribute to the natural dispersal of the fungus. Keywords
