On the Nonleptonic Decay of Hadron and the Total Quark Number Conservation

Abstract
A detailed argument is given on the selection rule–total quark number conservation– which has earlier been proposed on the nonleptonic decay of hadron. We show that the selection rule provides a reasonable understanding for the ΔI=1/2 rule of the dacay of usual strange particles and for the larger decay rate of nonleptonic decay of D0 than that of Dc. We also give other interesting sum rules and related discussion.
