Abstract
Measurements of k ≈ 0 optical phonons by Raman scattering are reported for Zn metal and for metallic high pressure phases of Si and Ge up to 50 GPa. Mode Griineisen parameters are determined and the experimental results are compared with theoretical results. Keywords
