Abstract
In an earlier work a numerical calculation was made of -wave pseudoscalar-meson—baryon scattering in a simple broken- model based on a static vector-meson exchange potential and coupled-channel Schrödinger equations. In the present work these calculations are extended to finding the location of the poles of the scattering matrix in the multisheeted complex energy plane and finding the motion of these poles as the strength of the potential is varied. Particular attention is paid to the behavior of the poles when the potential strength is such that there is a resonance closed to a threshold.
