ACTION OF MINUTE DOSIS OF GAMMA-RAYS ON GESTATION OF MICE

Abstract

Female mice were irradiated with 10 rads of 60Co .gamma.- rays, 7 h after mating. This low dose induced a decrease in implantation number and number of viable fetuses, and was followed by a lower number of corpora lutea. An effect of .gamma. irradiation on ovary and embryonic development was found.
