Abstract
Monkeys immunized with 2 tissue-culture cell lines, derived from human melanomas, produced antibodies which appeared to be specific for melanoma antigen(s). The antisera, after absorption with human erythrocytes, normal peripheral blood leukocytes, and HeLa cells, failed to react with normal human fibroblasts and lymphocytes or with nonmelanoma malignant cell lines but gave strong reactivity by cytotoxicity and mixed agglutination with 4 melanoma celilines. Keywords
