Abstract
In 5 of 80 cases of carcinoma of different organs and at different ages, the hypophysis was the seat of metastasis. The av. wt. of the hypophysis in the 80 cases in both sexes and at all ages was increased, the increase involving especially the eosinophile cells of the ant. lobe. The functional meaning of the eosinophile proliferation was not evident; there was no tendency to acromegaloid changes. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
