Abstract
Biloxi soybeans grown in sand and water culture were treated with varying concs. (2.5 to 30 ppm.) of ClOa and CIO4. Chlorate caused brown spotting and gradual death of leaves. The injury began with older and gradually affected younger leaves. Perchlorate injury began with younger leaves. Terminal growth was retarded by ClO4 and lateral shoots arose, with apparent suppression of apical dominance. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
