Abstract
The tetranortriterpene, meliatoxin A2, induced a significant level of antifeedant activity inSpodoptera litura F. larvae, while meliatoxin B1, which lacks the ring D epoxide, was much less active. Complete [13C]NMR assignments for both compounds derived from homo- and heteronuclear short- and long-range couplings are given. Keywords
