Abstract
The Cu–Cr phase diagram has been characterized thermodynamically and the subsequently calculated phase diagram is in good agreement with experimental results. The results show that the equilibrium solubility of chromium in copper becomes negligible below 600°C and confirm that the chromium solidus is retrograde. MST/650Keywords
