Spin-Orbit Splitting Effect on Single-Particle Energy Levels Based on Velocity-Dependent Potential

The single-particle energy states of neutrons calculated for several finite nuclei are found in good agreement with the experimental data. An effective velocity-dependent nucleon-nuclear potential based upon the $N-N$ interaction has been employed in the independent-particle model, and the spin-orbit effect has been studied.
